Randy Hinrichs is an outstanding pioneer of virtual worlds in education. Students from diverse fields collaborate weekly in the highly challenging course (which takes place in Second Life but also offers short trips into other virtual worlds). Graduates of the Certificate in Virtual Worlds take knowledge and skills learned from the course into a variety of professions: business, healthcare, education, computer programming, counseling, art, project management, librarianship and other fields. Randy Hinrichs guidance provides more than a skills set for building in 3D.
